Full Itinerary

Day 1

Yangon Arrival - Sightseeing - Night Bus to Bagan

Meals:

You will be picked up at your hotel by the tour guide and driver then discover the city.

Go downtown and see the architecture of the colonial constructions in the historic old capital. The history of design and their function will be presented by the tour guide.

The splendid Shwedagon Pagoda is the next stop. It is a golden pagoda located on the top of Singuttara hill surrounded by shining scenery. People believe that the pagoda kept the Buddha’s hair relics 2500 years ago. Nowadays, the pagoda is one of the most breathtaking religious architecture in the world and brings pride to Myanmar.

Travel to a local restaurant or China Town to have dinner (your expenses) before going to the highway bus station to get on the night bus to Bagan.

Day 2

Bagan Arrival - Sightseeing

Meals:

At 6 am, arriving in Bagan, you will be picked up at the bus station for the beginning of the trip to the lively Nyaung U Market in Old Bagan.

Then, head to gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and experience Burmese Buddhist customs.

After that, you take a walk to Ananda Temple, stop on the way to Bagan field for the view of the temples around. With the cruciform, the temple has many terraces heading to a little pagoda shrouded by a hti (refer as an umbrella or top ornament) at the top and that is typical for majority pagodas in Myanmar.

Next is Bagan - Manuha Temple. According to King Manuha’s inscriptions, the temple was constructed in 1067 by captive Mon King Manuha. It is a rectangular 2 storey building with three images of seated Buddhas and an image of Buddha entering Nirvana. Manuha Temple is one of the earliest temples in Bagan.

At the end of the day, we will explore Shwesandaw Pagoda which is the second highest in Bagan. The pagoda includes an array of five terraces, capped with a cylindrical stupa having a bejeweled umbrella.

Then come back to your hotel.

Day 3

Bagan Sightseeing - Night Bus to Yangon (B)

Meals:

At 8:30 am, after pickup at your hotel, you will be transferred to start the journey. Some attractions we will visit today are the monuments, temples such as Dhammayangyi Temple built in the dynasty of King Narathu and the biggest temple in Bagan.

The next stop is Htilominlo Temple with three storey heights over 46 meters with red brick. It is also famous for the elaborate plaster moldings. Four Buddhas facing different directions are located on the first floor.

You can opt for a horse cart ride through the temples: 15 USD/cart (max 2 people).

Now, you can explore the Minnanthu village near central Bagan where you get an opportunity to get acquainted with kind and sociable people living in the traditional houses. They are typical in Myanmar countryside with an outdoor zone to gather, work and sleep.

You will remember all the interesting images of peaceful places where men and women work hard and have fun.

If you have enough time, visit the monuments constructed in later time such as Laymyatnar Temple, Nandaminnya, Tayokepyay Temple and Payathonzu Temple.

Take time to go around the town and have dinner (your expense) before traveling to the bus station to catch the night bus to Yangon.

Day 4

Yangon Departure

Meals:

Now you will be picked up at the airport and spend the last day discovering Yangon town in Myanmar.

After that, we can stroll around the Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scotts Market) playing an important role in the city. The market is the most well known tourist attraction in Yangon and one of the value colonial buildings of the city.

Then you will take your flight at Yangon airport after we take you there.
