You are picked up at your hotel to Pansodan Jetty, then take a two-deck ferry to pass the Yangon River to Dhala which is a low-lying township in 15 minutes.
There is no bridge connecting Yangon and Dhala, so the dominant transportation is by ferry. Therefore, it will be full of locals very quickly. You may encounter the sellers of snacks and other goods to the passengers.
Leave the ferry in Dhala, let’s try seeing around by local trishaw. The destinations can be lively local markets, Buddhist temples and rural neighborhoods with major chances to get acquainted with the native and snap a number of beautiful photos with the splendid landscapes. Then visit Calvary Peace Center and traditional workshops.
